Our Mission

Welcome to our website! Gibbons Helping Each Other is a non-profit volunteer-based society aimed at community outreach, assistance and improvement. We do this by matching those who contact us for assistance with volunteers who are able to fulfill their needs.

 

We are a group of Gibbons residents who had an idea to create change from within our community. With the increasing stress and unknown fear of the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw a need to help out. With the great support of our amazing volunteers, we are able to provide local services for Gibbons residents. We believe in coming together to make a difference. We offer services such as ordering groceries online and delivering them to your house. As well as picking up your mail or any over-the-counter items you may need. Additionally, we can teach you how to use video calling programs like Skype, Zoom, Google Duo, or FaceTime. We can also help connect you to local food resources such as the Gibbons & Bon Accord Food Bank, WeCan or Meals On Wheels.
